Created in collaboration with Parrl Construction, this striking staircase installation demonstrates the impact of precision crafted architectural metalwork within a contemporary luxury residence.

Thomas Brenton was commissioned to manufacture and install a bespoke balustrade featuring our Sunningdale spindle design, tailored specifically to follow the dramatic curves and sweeping lines of the staircase. The elegant geometric detailing creates a sense of rhythm and movement, drawing the eye through the space while complementing the clean architectural forms of the interior.
Finished in a sophisticated dark metal finish and paired with a handcrafted timber handrail, the installation balances modern simplicity with enduring craftsmanship. Every spindle was individually manufactured and carefully positioned to maintain consistent spacing and visual flow throughout the complex curved staircase.
Bespoke Curved Staircase Design
The centrepiece of this project is the seamless integration of bespoke metal spindles with the staircase’s flowing geometry. Each section was measured, manufactured and installed to suit the unique radius and transitions of the staircase, ensuring a flawless finish from every angle.
Working closely with Parrl Construction, the result is a highly refined architectural feature that combines traditional craftsmanship, modern engineering and timeless design. The bespoke balustrade not only provides essential functionality but also serves as a defining focal point within the home.
