Inspired by the relationship between traditional materials and contemporary craftsmanship, this bespoke staircase combines slender steel spindles with precision-machined brass collars to create a balustrade that feels both elegant and timeless.
Manufactured by Thomas Brenton, each spindle is formed from 16mm solid steel bar, providing exceptional strength and durability while maintaining a light and graceful appearance. The addition of brass detailing introduces warmth and refinement, creating a subtle contrast that complements both contemporary and traditional interiors.
Paired with a handcrafted timber handrail, the balustrade creates a sophisticated focal point that celebrates simplicity, proportion and material quality.
